The Scarborough Hockey Association has applied and been accepted into the Greater Toronto Hockey League. The following is a list of the programs that will be run by the S.H.A. for the 2010/2011 season and beyond.
COMPETITIVE "A"
We will be operating a complete compliment of single "A" clubs in the eastern loop of the G.T.H.L. The teams will be as follows: Minor Atom (2001), Atom (2000), Minor Peewee (1999), Peewee (1998), Minor Bantam (1997), Bantam (1996), Minor Midget (1995), 1st year Midget (1994) and 2nd year Midget (1993). All try-out information will be posted according to the rules set out by the G.T.H.L at the appropriate time.
SCARBOROUGH YOUTH HOCKEY LEAGUE
As a direct affiliate of the Scarborough Hockey Association, this program is run entirely by the their own board of directors and provides a program that includes the following.
- sweaters and socks
- team and individual pictures
- hockey schools for the beginners
- a complete house league program (novice through Juvenile)
- tournament select teams
- select teams within the North York Hockey League
- cost efficient programs
It is our hopes that with these various programs within the Scarborough Hockey Association we have the ability to accommodate all the needs of the players within the eastern portion of the City of Toronto and provide a positive experience for all those involved.
